How to type special characters in Android Phones? | TextStyle

*** Do you want to type some special alphabets ever in your smartphone? ***

Today i am going to show a way, with u can easily type some Tricky n Funky Text in your Android Smartphone.

The image below shows some of the examples.



We often require special characters to be entered while typing using our Android mobiles. Just to enter a fullstop or semicolon while typing our SMS, we need to switch between alphabet and numeric keyboard on our smartphones, which is quite painful. After knowing these tricks on typing special characters on Android mobiles, you won’t need to do this double work.

U need to just press and hold the alphabet key...u will see a popup with additional characters.






The image above shows an example of popup while holding "U" key on my Android Smartphone.

  1. WhatsApp founded in 2009 by formerYahoo! employees Brian Acton and Jan Koum.
  2. Sequoia Capital invested $8 million in 2011.
  3. 70% of users are active on a daily basis
  4. WhatsApp says they are adding 1 million users everyday.
  5. They currently employ ~50 people.
  6. 32 engineers working on WhatsApp, i.e. one engineer is responsible for 14 million active users!!
  7. 400 million active users in December 2013.
  8. Rising to 450 million active users according to Facebook’s press release.
  9. The app is the 5th most downloaded app on Android .
  10. WhatsApp doesn’t sell ads and zero have appeared on the app.
